PRS presents a special series that explores the relationship between spirit and music by focusing on the life and context of the composers, literature that relates to the performers themselves, aspects of the instruments, and reflection on style. The special concert is being held on Manly Hall's birthday, who founded The Philosophical Research Society in 1934. Megan Shung (violin), Marina Pacowski (piano and host) and Mandy Kahn (poet in residence) will celebrate "The Soul of the Violin" in a special program featuring the works of Mozart, Elgar, Bach, Debussy, De Falla, and Monti.
